General information
Helmet requirement
If you wear a safety belt, you are not required to wear a helmet.
If the Maximus MX3-25 is driven without a belt fastened,
Helmets are required.
Liability insurance
Electric vehicles require insurance and license plates!
When you take out this insurance you will receive an insurance number,
that must be attached to the vehicle.
An operating license is included with the scooter.
Driver's license
A license to drive mopeds is required to operate.
Minimum age 15 years. Holders of driving license categories A, B and T
do not require a permit.
People born before April 1, 1965
do not require a permit or driver's license.
Where can you drive the vehicle?
The use of public footpaths and cycle paths (in town) is not permitted.
Cycle paths may be used in urban areas,
which are marked with a moped on the traffic sign.
Cycle paths may be used outside built-up areas.
